Candidates who wish to become a CATE must pass the 000-222 pSeries Administration and Support for AIX 5L V5.3, 000-180 pSeries Enterprise Technical Support for AIX 5L V5.3, 000-237 pSeries HACMP for AIX 5L and 000-062 IBM System p5 Virtualization Technical Support AIX 5L V5.3 exams. In preparation for this exam candidates are advised to also do the IBM training course. (Please note that the training course is a recommendation.)
