Implicit in the earning of the CED (IBM Certified Enterprise Developer) certification is that the candidates have apprentice knowledge of develops and deploys distributed enterprise-level applications that model an organization's processes, practices, and concepts.

IBM CED What are the compulsory exams to earn credit towards this certification?
Candidates who wish to become a CED must pass the IBM 310-025, IBM Test 486, Test 484, IBM Test 287 exam. In preparation for this exam candidates are advised to also do the training course Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software. (Please note that the training course is a recommendation.) This training course is available from IBM Bootcamp.

IBM CED What can be done in terms of Recertification for CED?
The certification validity period is indefinitely. Recertification will thus not be required.
